Alone on Valentine's Day
Diya: Today is valentine’s day, I am alone at home. My kid is at school and husband far away in Cochin. This routine sucks.
Amita: You are lucky; your kid will be home after school. But, in my case both of them are busy in their own world. One with friends and other touring abroad.
Diya: Those days were lovely school, college, it was real fun.
Amita: So true. Earlier my husband surprised me with gifts on all occasions. Not anymore. Life has become boring. Every time I see young couples, I envy them.

I petty them, they have unnecessarily developed boredom in this bright, fun, exciting world. There is so much to do, to feel happy about. Today is the best day to spice up your life. Today is Valentine’s day.
Valentine’s day is about Love. Love for all. If, for some reason your better half isn’t with you, don’t feel sad about it. You can continue spreading love and get showered with love.
- Go out shopping with kids/ friends.
- Buy gift for loved ones.
- Write long mail to loved ones.
- Send SMS
- Click pictures
- Cook special dinner.
My friend there is lot to do. You just need to think.
