Need a Break


“I am tired". How often do you feel so? Too often, occasionally or seldom? Surely you are tired of the routine. Why not, being mother is a 24x7 job. And no mom is a superwoman. Her only strength is her unconditional love for her baby which gets her going.

If you are tired, say it. It’s no crime, don’t feel guilty about it. Accepting this fact won’t lessen your love for your child. All you need to do is PAUSE. Take some time off for yourself. Rejuvenate your strength, take a relaxing foot massage, watch your favorite movie, sleep, chat with friends, listen to music, the list is endless. Make a pick.

Allot a time slot for say 2 or 3 hours in a week for a break wherein, one of the family members can take care of your baby in your absence. All you need to do is be yourself during your break time. Do justice to the time-away from your little one.

This exercise will not only help you break the monotony in your life, but it will also build bond between the child and the care-taker. Your baby will learn to communicate better, will learn to adjust to the change, accept the change, which in turn will help develop confidence in your baby.
 
So, for your and your baby’s betterment, take a break because, you Need A Break.
